i know this is pretty forced... but love the idea anyway. who needs adidas, if allt heir designs are: 1. old 2. remixed by big name designers. we could cut our adidas (or any brand) out of the equation.
The definition of brand and identity is supposed to give users comfort and assurance of at least a certain level of quality - how do you take just the quality paradox and not put any identity on it? Assuming you want to completely take over a segment and not just work with niches.

Open source luxury (trainers or anything else) sounds like an oxymoron. Thus it is interesting. Proceed. :)
